Community Development Organization

The Crooked River Ranch Community Development Organization, (CDO), a non-profit organization, is alive and well and continuing to forge ahead with plans to develop and build a community center at Crooked River Ranch.

The property acquisition is moving along nicely, and there will, hopefully, be a final report soon.

There are so many other details to put together that it is difficult to know where to start. The CDO is looking for help with many tasks. From fund raising to technical assistance to construction to grant writing to tenant solicitation, the possibilities are endless for people who want to get involved in this "fun" yet rewarding project.

Sustainability of the community center, once it is completed, is also a challenge. Please contact us if you or someone you know would like information on renting a space in this building.

We are hopeful that the building will eventually house a library, child care/pre-school facility, medical clinic, coffee shop/vendor, fitness center, community theater group, offices, and more.
