Community Center Update

The Crooked River Ranch Community Development Organization is alive

and well and excited about moving ahead with our new Community Center.

Recently, over fifty Ranchers gathered to learn about a proposal from the

MacPherson family, which would enhance the quality of life at the Ranch.

The family owns 130 acres adjoining the new fire hall, which is located in the

most populated area of the Ranch.

The family has generously offered to donate ten acres for a community

center, in return for Ranch support of a zoning change which would allow

them to develop the remaining acreage into housing, perhaps a retirement

community, a small commercial strip mall and, possibly, a school in the future.

The CDO encourages input from this community regarding the
